I Hope They Call Me On A Mission
Here is the video of Sunnie opening her mission call. She is going to serve in the Romania/Moldova Mission. Which is the same as our cousin Allie Savage. Good Luck Sora Lund!

Three Little Birds
This is a dress that I have made. It is just one of the many that I have been working on. I have gotten much better than I used to be. I really enjoy sewing and want a new machine but I am going to wait until I have gotten better.
I went with Megan to the Holi Color Festival. It was really fun. We chanted and then had a count down, then everyone threw the colors at everyone. This is after the count down dont we look awesome?
I realized that he is the only one that hasnt met Scuttle. Scuttle is my new baby bird. He is very funny and independent, he really does have his own little personality. The title of this post is in honor of Scuttle. I have really enjoyed have someone to talk to. I love when he talks to me and makes noise. He is flies around the room, and likes being on the hangers. He has this comical side to him that makes me laugh.

"Oh, Life's An Hourglass"
I felt like this Mindy Gledhill song was fitting for me. I keep meaning to put up some more pictures and videos on here, but I’ve been busy and, well, life’s an hour glass and the next thing I know it’s already November! So this will just be a random conglomeration of everything over the past few months. Even though I only have one big heading, I’ll try to think up titles for each individual post.
“When Marimba Rhythm Starts To Play, Dance With Me, Make Me Sway”
First off we have John’s dance competition from this morning. He and his partner Rachel did well, they made it through the third round.
“Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, We Raise The Dead”
I love Phantom Planet, and all their music seems pretty Halloween-y to me, that’s why I picked that song. Anyway, Halloween was fun but pretty uneventful this year. My roommates and I went to a dance Friday night…
We also ran into these two crazy guys...
and, like my parents, I happened to meet my one true love at this dance...
“Come Listen to A Prophet’s Voice and Hear the Savior Too”
Conference weekend was a lot of fun. Aaron and Terra got married, and Allie and I watched Sarah and Amber’s kids during the wedding. It was quite a feat to keep them from getting in the fountains!
I gave Ian his ninja mask that we got him at the 100 Yen store. He absolutely LOVED it! I don’t think he took it off all weekend!
I had to make a simulation of comets hitting the earth for my Astronomy class and Johnny helped me. It was pretty fun. And kind of a mess. But, I did get an A on the assignment =)
Cami and I had the opportunity to go to the Sunday Afternoon Session of Conference in the Conference Center, it was really fantastic. I love Conference so much.
“Oh, Girls Just Want To Have Fun!”
I’m the First Counselor in my Ward’s Relief Society Presidency. We decided to get some pictures to put on cards with all of our numbers for our girls. However, we didn’t want to do the traditional, nice Sunday Dress pictures with perfect hair, etc (not that there’s anything wrong with those). Anyway, here are some of my favorites from our shoot.
“There Were Never Such Devoted Sisters”
Cami and I decided to have a sister’s night, which, of course, involved face masks! I’ll be honest, I wanted us to use face masks purely because I thought it would be a good photo opportunity.
“The Stars Collide, Will You Stand By And Watch Them Fall?”
Towards the end of summer we drove out to Genola to watch the meteor shower. It was pretty impressive. Fun fact, a meteoroid is a small rock in inter-planetary space, whereas a meteor is a result of a meteoroid entering the atmosphere and burning up and a meteorite is a fragment of a meteoroid that survives the passage through the atmosphere and lands on earth. See, look at how much I’m learning here! (Ok, so what if I had to check my Astronomy flashcards to remember the difference? At least I know there’s a difference now, right?) We slept in the back of John’s truck. Ok, well John slept in the back of the Truck while Johhny, Allie and I stayed up talking. Shocker, hu?
“Hey Man, It’s Been Awhile, Do You Remember Me? When I Hit These Streets I Was 17”
After leaving Japan I spent about a week in Washington. It was nice to be back, but a little surreal. It felt familiar, but not necessarily like home anymore. Does that make sense? Still, it was fun to see old friends and well-known places.
And of course I couldn’t resist going on my walk to the Grave Yard at least once. Call it creepy if you must, but it’s one of my favorite places in Silverdale.
“See the sand in my grasp, From the first to the last, Every grain becomes a memory of the past”
