"Beach Baby, Beach Baby, There On The Sand"

So apparently I only update the blog during the summer. Or when Dad's at sea. But, those two usually coincide so I guess we'll never know the real reason. One of life's little mysteries I guess. I would like to point out that "Shooting With Lloyd" is not the name of a song, or in any song lyrics, CAMI! At least not that I know of. If such a song exists, I want you to record yourself (and Lloyd) singing it and then put it on the blog to prove to me that it is a real song. Anyway, as you might have guessed from the title of the entry (it's a line from Beach Baby by First Class, if you didn't know) we have been taking advantage of the beaches here in Japan. Granted, they might not be as grand as the beaches in Hawaii, they are better than no beach at all. We have decided that we want to go as often as possible, at least once a week. So you will probably get to see more beach pictures as the summer and dad's sea tour progresses. So, without further ado, here are the pictures...

Perk of a 300 zoom lens, they didn't even know I was taking the picture.

Notice the Reflection!!!! In case you didn't know, I LOVE reflection pictures.

We found this rope just laying there in the sand and I wanted to know what it went to. So we dug and we pulled and then John gave up on me and I went it alone for about five more minutes before realizing that this goal may be a little unrealistic. But I did make sure and bury the rope so no other poor innocent people had their dreams crushed...

Mom and John looking at a map, trying to find the way home. Now we are getting into pictures from our second beach trip. The first was to Zushi, I can't remember where the second one was. All the above pictures are from Zushi, except the tsunami one at the top. I just thought that one was cool to start with.

Sparky. Because he is of course part of this family.

John and one of his discoveries.

John walking along the beach, looking for buried treasure.
The four of us.
Notice how John is giving Sparky bunny ears. Maybe it was supposed to be a peace sign, but that's not what it looks like to me!

Notice the lovely beach curl in the middle of my forehead on this one. I've decided to stop fighting it though. I'm just letting it do it's thing...mostly

So that's about all for now. I've officially adjusted to Japan time, I know because I stay up past midnight most nights. I'll probably add more pictures tomorrow. I was going to add them tonight, but John wants me to come play Halo with him, so...
